Do you need to store your recreational vehicle or trailer? Outdoor Recreation offers RV Storage
for RVs up to 40 feet.
Storage is divided into long (20-40ft) and short sites (0-20ft). All lots are fenced-in and paved
with assigned spaces and 24/7 access via a locked gate.

Eligibility
Only the following categories of customers are authorized to use the RV storage lot in the listed priority. NOTE: The Installation Commander has the authority to change the priority procedures without notice when ensuring force protection conditions are complied with.
Priority 1: Active duty military members residing in SAFB government quarters.
Priority 2: Active duty military members permanently assigned to SAFB (within 50 miles) and residing in off-base housing.
Priority 3: Active duty military members assigned temporary duty (TDY) at SAFB, but only for the temporary duty period.
Priority 4: Retired military members, DoD APF and NAF civilian employees assigned to SAFB (within 50 miles).
The lot registration must be in the same name as RV/vehicle owner. At the time of issue of a lot/space, up-to-date state vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and local contact address and telephone number must be provided. We cannot store autos/pickups or other passenger vehicles unless they are loaded on a car hauler and are covered properly.

How do I store an item in Outdoor Recreation storage?
Due to high demand, we have a waitlist for items over 20ft. Please add your name to the wailist at the link above. When we have space available for you, we will call and email to notify you. You should then make an appointment to set up your storage account!
For those with items under 20ft, please give us a call at 618-256-2067 to inquire and set up an RV Storage appointment.
What documents do I need to store an RV or trailer?
At the time of appointment, you will need to provide the following documents:
- IF priority 1: proof of housing on-base.
- Proof of Registration for item to be stored (Must be registered in name of the person attending the appointment. Otherwise, must have valid and notarized Power of Attorney; Bill of Sale does NOT quality.)
- Proof of Insurance for item to be stored or POV insurance if covers items towed.
- Picture of item to be stored (preferably a corner view with plate in view)
- Completed RV Storage Agreement
- Military ID/CAC
All stored items must maintain current registration and insurance at all times while in the lots.
Is there 24/7 Access to the storage lots?
Yes. Customers may enter and exit the lots 24/7.
What is the monthly cost?
The Cost is $27/month for short (up to 20ft) items and $37/month for long (20-40ft) items.
How is the RV Storage billed?
We bill to a card via an auto-billing system. Each payment is billed on the 1st of the month. Payment for the first month is due at the time of appointment.
Can I park my vehicle in the lot while I am taking my camper or RV out?
No, we do not permit any passenger vehicles (cars, SUVs, trucks, etc.) to be stored in the lots at any time.
Can I store more than one item in my storage site?
No, only one item may be stored in a storage site at a time. In order to store two items at a time, you must have two sites rented under your name. Any customers found to be storing two items in one space will be required to remove one item and will be charged for two storage sites until the second item is removed.
Can I do maintenance on my stored item in the lot?
Maintenance on items is not permitted while items are parked in the lot. This does not include departure preparation such as servicing tires, cooling system, or fluid checks, lamp or wiper replacements, etc. All items parked in the storage lots must e kept in good condition while stored.
How do I suspend my storage account and vacate the lot?
To end your storage account with us, remove the stored item from the storage site, then email, call, or visit in person to let us know you will no longer need your storage site. We will verify the site is empty and remove you from the system at that time. Notice of vacate must be given at least 2 working days prior to the end of the month unless otherwise stated.
1/2 Month refunds are issued to individuals who vacate the storage site prior to the 15th of the month. If you vacate on the 15th or afterwards, you will not receive a refund.
